We are looking for our first business hire to own the entire pipeline from first touch to closed deal. Your focus is sales, not marketing. You will not be running campaigns or managing content calendars. Instead, you will be working hand-in-hand with marketing to turn the demand they generate into real pipeline and closed revenue.
You are equal parts hustler, strategist, and relationship builder. You are comfortable with cold outreach, partnership pitches, and demo calls in the same day. You know how to sell a technical product to a non-technical buyer, and you understand that at this stage, every conversation counts.
What you will do
- Own outbound: identify prospects, run cold outreach on LinkedIn, X, email, and anywhere else decision-makers spend time
- Build and manage partnerships with blockchain ecosystems, accelerators, DAOs, and education platforms
- Run product demos and close deals directly
- Get Doodledapp into hackathons, demo days, partner webinars, and ecosystem events
- Own customer onboarding and early success to drive retention and referrals
- Build referral loops and word-of-mouth mechanics into the sales process
- Track pipeline metrics and figure out which channels convert, then double down
- Feed market insights back to product: what prospects ask for, what objections come up, what competitors are doing
What we are looking for
- 3+ years in sales, business development, or growth at a startup or early-stage SaaS company
- Track record of building pipeline from scratch, not inheriting a book of business
- Experience selling to non-technical buyers or SMBs
- Comfort with outbound: you can write a cold DM that gets replies, not ignored
- Scrappy and resourceful: you find the conference, talk your way into the panel, and leave with three warm leads
- Strong communicator who can explain a technical product in plain language
- Self-directed and metrics-driven: you do not wait for a playbook, you write it
Nice to have
- Experience in blockchain, DeFi, or smart contract ecosystems
- Background selling developer tools, no-code platforms, or B2B SaaS
- Existing network in crypto communities, accelerators, or enterprise blockchain
- Experience with product-led growth or freemium conversion funnels
